finances
| I've decided to take on finances for the team, and I finally bit the bullet with using Quicken. I can't believe it took me so long to try it--I think it's fabulous! So much easier than exporting everything to Excel, then sorting it, etc. It'll be good to see how much we're really spending eating out between the two of us. I think that's definitely something we can work on in order to save money. It'll be useful too once my husband gets a new job to manage our cash flow, savings, and building his retirement plan. In-service starts on Wednesday, assuming that we don't have a hurricane here. I'm just really jaded after Rita. I think the news stations make it sound sooo much scarier than it really is. I doubt that we'd evacuate for anything under a Category 3 headed right for Galveston. Labels: marriage |
